First step is constructing the upper torso, following the directions in the box, build it as shown right down to the large circular base that the gut weapon attaches to, leaving the arms and pauldrons un attached (Save this step for last).
Second we start working on the position of the legs, there 4 hydraulic pistons you use to attach the legs to the torso, glue the two pistons together slightly off tilt so it imitates the effect of walking once the legs are attached, this will look like one piston being longer than the other, once those are glued take the hobby saw and cut them down so they are both flat, it's best to cut the inner piston shaft, that means you will be cutting through the other piston's shaft housing, that is normal.
As we start to build the legs, build two as complete tanks, and two with just the sides and the tops on, leave the bottoms hollow.
The two complete tanks will be the lower calves and the ones with no bottom will be the upper thighs.
Take the Citadel Hobby Saw to the upper thigh pieces and cut them at roughly 15-20 degree angle, nothing too steep, then glue them to the top of the lids on the lower leg sections, then use greenstuff to attach the thigh plates as knee pads, now glue the pistons to the legs roughly about center then allow them to dry.
Glue the pistons with the legs into the beveled area on the sides of the circular hips.
the bottom of calves will be attached to the anchor that normally would go on the hull of the tank, flipping the extra container bottoms upside down and attached with plastic glue and green stuff with the spiked fender of the tank will form your feet.
Attach to a monstrous creature base, pose for dramatics, and kick some space marine butt!
Enjoy!
